Going Undercover

This project aims to strengthen community engagement with art and the environment through workshops featuring the creation of unique works of art by local artists and the general public following hands-on demonstrations on environmental science in the settings of Metro Nashville Parks. The funding will support: Artist honorariums for 4planning sessions and 4 workshops, art supplies/equipment for public participants, fees for workspaces, framing and expenses related to the exhibition.

This project invites members of the Nashville community to take a deeper look at the environment around them through creative expression and physical investigation in hands-on workshops in Metro Parks and connects the public with local artists, who will lead each workshop in collaboration with Vanderbilt experts who will provide guided demonstrations.
